MY EXPERIENCE WITH INDIA’S EDUCATION SYSTEM; TILL NOW.

Education is the life blood of any country’s economy. Similarly, India’s economy needs education to develop. Mind it, I am talking about education, not literacy. Education is not acquiring degrees, jobs, status, money etc. Rather, education is learning in such a way, so that a person is able to innovate, modify, and recreate a existing substance , better than it’s original form. Along with that education should include , learning the difference about good and bad and to choose what.
According to me, the drawbacks of India’s education system is , lack of these significant outputs which education provides. In India, people feel more proud to say about their qualifications than their ability and skills they possess. This has certain root causes.
There are various boards such as, CBSE, ICSE, ISC, STATE BOARDS etc. , their main objectives, in pen and paper ,is to develop students ideologies but, it doesn’t happen. Lets talk about CBSE (as I am more familiar with) , when there is a opening of pvt. Schools they long to get the affiliation, without caring about standards. They aim to increase number of students by hook or crook, as that can help them to get the affiliation. While doing this what happens is, they don’t expel or suspend any students, as they are focused on the number. Discipline goes down, along with teaching. However, exceptions may be there.
After getting affiliation they change their focus, now it’s earning or increasing profits. Now they face certain pressure from board, specially for classes 10 and 12. Don’t worry , for that also there are many loopholes.
Let us discuss about one to make it clearer. CBSE has made efforts to increase sports performance in India. How?? , they have included Physical education as an optional subject in many schools. The irony is, the subject is included not to increase sports performance in India but, it is a way to make all students pass and get good marks. Many tells, it is a scoring subject, is it an insult to that subject or a praise ?? Then come to project, project is another way to make students pass out. No such implementation of projects are done. As like, when there is project on economics, students are told to do a survey, they present their fake survey. Nothing is learned from that project and it’s designed not for learning anything but for scoring.
Another dark side which I got to know few days before. In H.S externals (outside teachers) comes to check the board project files and to take oral exams of the students. According to CBSE external are supposed to check the project files, take orals, and a 12 marks written test (if there) and give marks . But, what happens is exactly the opposite. External comes but, they don’t give marks, the marks are given by the school teacher with full biasness. This process helps the students to get min. 10-15 % marks (which is included in board papers). And also it helps them to pass easily. This is not inspected by CBSE. All aims to pass, pass and pass. And this results in catastrophic destruction of the economy. This continues in bachelors. Masters and probably in job sectors.
Corruption takes birth in education sector, and shows it’s impact in job sector. -----------------------------BOARDS ARE LESS BOTHERED. EDUCATION IS NOT THERE. INDIA’S EDUCATION IS NO WHERE AMONG THE WORLD'S TOP EDUCATION PROVIDING COUNTRIES. HOW WILL EDUCATION TOURISM FLOURISH ? WHY WILL THE INDIANS NOT GO OUTSIDE TO ACQUIRE EDUCATION ? TELL ME !
